We're owned and operated by Cody and Jess Poos — a husband-and-wife team committed to a structured, predictable, and professional experience for every renter.

Cody is a former U.S. Army Ranger Captain; the principles that defined his military career — preparation, accountability, and clear communication — shape the systems behind AKventure. Jess manages Anchorage staging and communication so every group gets a clean, well-communicated hand-off. Our mission is simple: provide high-quality equipment and disciplined logistics so you can run your own hunt with confidence. We do not guide. We do not outfit. We provide equipment, structure, and support — nothing more, nothing less.
