Where do I pick up and return?+
All rentals are picked up and returned in Wasilla at 3790 N Wyoming Dr, Wasilla, AK 99623, with an in-person gear walkthrough so you leave confident.
How do I reserve dates?+
Open any rental, choose your dates on the live availability calendar, add the gear you need, and review your trip — all online. A deposit reserves your dates.
What discounts are available?+
The K1 Summit Shelter has multi-day discounts (5% at 7+ days, 10% at 14+, 15% at 21+) and a 5% military discount. Boats are priced by season.
What's the Remote Air Risk fee?+
An optional +$50/day for air cargo — we package the boat for flight on your air cargo transport and drop it off for you to fly into the truly wild Alaska. We'll email packaged-boat weights and sizes for coordination.
Do you go to the North Slope?+
Yes. Boats have a flat North Slope / Deadhorse day rate, and seasonal North Slope logistics packages (Aug 1 – Sep 15) are available by inquiry. See the logistics package.
What comes with the K1 shelter?+
Tent, rain fly, carry bag, stakes, hammer, inner walls, and a hand pump — a complete basecamp that sets up in about two minutes.
