Bookings & deposits
Submitting a booking requests a reservation for the selected dates and items. A reservation is confirmed when the required deposit is received. Deposits and balances are described at checkout; unused days are non-refundable because the equipment is staged and held for your dates.
Rental agreement & release of liability
All rentals require a signed rental agreement, which governs equipment use, damage responsibility, and cancellation. Separately, every person on the trip signs their own Release of Liability, which covers assumption of risk, the release of liability, and indemnification. In any conflict, those signed documents control over this summary.
Equipment & conduct
Renters are responsible for inspecting, operating, and returning equipment in good condition, and for following all safety briefings and applicable laws. AKventure rents equipment only — we do not guide, outfit, or influence hunting decisions, and do not provide field assistance or rescue.
Limitation of liability
Remote Alaska boating and camping carry inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AKventure is not liable for injury, death, or property damage arising from use of the equipment, as set out in each person's signed Release of Liability.
