What we collect
When you request or make a booking we collect your name, email, phone number, the rental dates and items you select, and — when you sign the rental agreement — your electronic signature and an audit record (timestamp, browser/device, and the agreement version you accepted).
We also set a first-party cookie that records which campaign or link first brought you to the site (for example a marketing email or a search) so we know how customers find us. It holds no personal information — no name, email, or advertising ID — and is never shared with or sold to anyone.
How we use it
To process and prepare your rental, communicate about your booking, maintain records of signed agreements, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Website assistant
If you use the “Ask a question” assistant, your questions and its answers are saved so we can improve the site and answer what it couldn't. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed before a question is saved, your connection address is kept only as a one-way code (used to prevent abuse), and questions are kept for up to two years. The assistant only uses information published on this website, can't see bookings or accounts, and its answers are generated with Google Cloud's AI service. If you use “Send this to the owner,” the name, email and phone you enter are sent to us so we can reply.
Payment information
Card payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number — it goes directly to the processor. We retain only payment records (amounts, dates, status, and processor reference IDs).
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run this service, including Google Cloud (database, hosting, storage, and authentication) and Stripe (payments). Your data is processed on their infrastructure under their security controls.
Data retention & your rights
We keep booking and signed-agreement records as needed for business and legal purposes. To access, correct, or request deletion of your information, contact us.
