How are days counted?

You pay for every calendar day you have the boat — pickup day through return day. Any time with the boat in a day is a full day (no proration). Multi-day discount: 5% per 7 days, up to 15%.

How do deposits work?

The booking deposit locks your dates. Cancel before your balance due date and half of it is refunded, half becomes account credit for another trip; after the balance due date the deposit is kept (anything paid above it is refunded). For North Slope and Western Alaska trips the balance due date is the season's commitment date — the day we commit crew and boats to the season — and from then on nothing paid is refundable. Your balance due date is shown in the agreement summary. The security deposit is separate, fully refundable, and returned after your trip.

Where do I pick up?

Pre/post-season: free pickup in Wasilla (3790 N Wyoming Dr, Wasilla, AK 99623) with a one-hour safety briefing + gear hand-off. During the North Slope season (Jul 31 – Sep 3): Deadhorse, AK. We can also deliver the rented equipment to a street address in town at $1/mile from Wasilla — equipment only; you do everything in the field yourself.
